WEC - Audi one-two at Bahrain for its very last endurance race

This evening, the Audi drivers were highly motivated to give a final win to the marque leaving the endurance world and the World Endurance Championship (WEC) after 13 victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

From pole position, the #8 Audi R18 was able to hold its ground through the checkered flag, with Lucas di Grassi, Loïc Duval (winner at the 2013 24 Hours) and Oliver Jarvis ahead of three-time Le Mans winners Marcel Fässler, André Lotterer and Benoît Tréluyer. The German manufacturer's one-two has not however prevented the victors of the 2016 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans - Romain Dumas, Neel Jani and Marc Lieb - from clinching the World Endurance Championship Drivers title after Porsche's Constructor title.
