WEC - Ford's 6 Hours of Nürburgring (video)

The two Ford GTs entered by Ford Chip Ganassi Team UK endured a difficult race last weekend in Germany. The #67 fell victim to a fire during a pit stop and the #66 incurred a drive-through at the very end of the race.

In the end, the #66 Ford GT finished fourth in the LM GTE Pro class after being penalized with a drive-through for an infraction during a pit stop - and yet a podium finish had been within reach. The duo Stefan Mücke and Olivier Pla, which had scored as many points as possible at this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans, saw its lead dwindle like snow in the sun.

As for the #67 driven by Andy Priaulx, Harry Tincknell and Marino Franchitti, a small fire early in the race pushed the car to the back of the standings. It finished seventh and last in the class.
