After two seasons in LM P2 in the European Le Mans Series, Morand Racing, which became NewBlood by Morand Racing early in 2014, is cranking up a notch in 2015 with a two-car entry in the FIA World Endurance Championship (pending acceptance). The two Morgans, known as Morgan EVO SARD, will be racing under the name of Team SARD-Morand, formed through a partnership between Benoît Morand's team of Switzerland and the Japanese SARD Racing Team of Super GT fame.

SARD – Sigma Advanced Research and Development – has entered a Lexus (Toyota) in the GT500 category for several years now. Romain Dumas, winner of the Le Mans 24 Hours in 2010 with Audi and now a Porsche factory driver, made his GT debut with SARD in 2002. In Europe, SARD established its reputation with the Toyota GT-One that came second overall in the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1994.

Morand Racing on the other hand has more expertise in the LM P2 category having finished in fifth place in the Le Mans 24 Hours in 2013 (following the relegation of G-Drive Racing) and sixth in 2014.
