Another win for Toyota, G-Drive Racing win LM P2, Ferrari finish ahead of Porsche in LM GTE Pro, AF Corse complete their success in LM GTE Am ahead of Aston Martin.

Nicolas Lapierre crossed the finish line to win the 6 Hours of Spa aboard the Toyota Hybrid TS 040 No 8 ahead of the best representative of Audi Sport Team Joest, namely the Audi R18 e-tron quattro No 1 world champion title holders Tom Kristensen and Loïc Duval, joined this year by Luca Di Grassi who finished 30 seconds behind the winners. This is the second consecutive victory of the crew of Nicolas Lapierre Anthony Davidson and Sebastien Buemi taking a strong lead in the World Endurance Championship before the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Toyota also took the lead over Porsche and Audi in the constructors placing the second Toyota TS040 Hybrid , the No. 7 of Alexander Wurz, Kazuki Nakajima and Stéphane Sarrazin on the third step of the podium a few seconds behind the No 1 Audi.

In LM P2, G-Drive Racing repeated their performance at Silverstone by beating the competition and particularly the Jota Sport Zytek No 38 which was always threatening. Olivier Pla, Roman Rusinov and Julien Canal were just a minute ahead after six hours of racing.

In GT, The Ferraris of AF Corse won both classes. Porsche, interposed between the two Ferraris with the works 911 RSR No 91. In the last hour Patrick Pilet came back into second position ahead of Davide Rigon in a great skirmish.

As in qualifying, Gianmaria Bruni and Toni Vilander in the n°51 and Mirko Venturi, Marco Cioci and Luis Perez-Companc in the n°61 notched the top spots.
