There are plenty of options to follow the 6 Hours of Silverstone electronically. On television first of all, Motorsport.tv (formerly Motors TV) will broadcast the race live and in-full beginning at 11 :45 a.m., with the start given at noon. In France, the free station l’Equipe will transmit the race in three timeslots: from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., then 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and lastly 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Eurosport will broadcast the final hour live from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. All times are local.
Other European countries will have the opportunity to watch the 6 Hours of Silverstone in its entirety on the small screen, such as Austria via ORF and the U.K. via BT Sport. Germans and Bulgarians will only get to see certain parts of the race. Others able to watch the action are the Chinese via LeTV, the Japanese via J Sports and North Americans via Fox Sports 1 for the first two hours and Fox Sports 2 for the remainder of the race.
Many websites will transmit the race live and in-full (see list), and the official FIA WEC app, available free at the App Store and Google Play, will offer exceptional coverage of every race for an annual subscription or on a per-race fee basis.
