What will you be doing on Sunday 19 June 2016?

If you haven't already done so, don't forget to highlight this year's Le Mans week in your new diary. The list of competitors will be announced on 5 February. In the meantime, here's the run down on the festivities we have in store for you in June!

Sunday 19 June

Finish

After an undoubtedly sleepless night for some, and for those who stole a few brief moments of rest, the finish is on the horizon. Yet, as the first rays of sunshine blanket the Circuit de la Sarthe, the race is far from over. Anything can happen. In the morning often a lot happens on the track. Drivers, sometimes tired, can make mistakes as they start to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

For spectators, the buzz begins to ramp up around noon. The grandstands are once again packed as everyone looks to find a spot to watch the race's heroes come in. At 3:00 p.m., salvation arrives for the drivers and mechanics who survived a 24-hour hell. The winning car of the 84th edition is situated at the podium. The winning drivers are given their trophy and celebrate with the crowd, because as soon as the race ends with the waving of the chequered flag, spectators are invited to invade the track and gather at the podium to cheer on the victors. It's a special celebration, the final one for spectators, before looking to the next edition!

Don't miss this huge annual event and experience an exceptional day on Sunday 19 June at the finish of the biggest race in the world.
