Will Stevens confirmed with Manor for full WEC season

British driver Will Stevens (24), who was part of the Manor Marussia Formula One team last season will remain with Manor for the World Endurance Championship this year. The outfit also confirmed it will be running a two-car campaign.

Manor is just starting out in endurance and will be on the grid for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June. The team will be announcing more news in March, before the WEC prologue in Le Castellet. Stevens, who made his Formula One début with Caterham, raced with Manor in Formula One last season and has plenty of experience in single-seater racing, in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and Formula Renault 3.5.
“My objective is to have a number of top level career choices going forward, and to be able to gain experience in endurance racing will hopefully open up my career prospects. I want to keep very busy, enjoy my racing and do some winning and I'm confident that by working again with Manor in WEC I'll achieve all of those things”, says Stevens. He joins Tor Graves whose recruitment was announced earlier this month. We understand the other drivers will be named soon.

The other news from Manor is that the outfit will be fielding two cars.
