For this closing round of the first season of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, the GT class also welcomes Asian and other competitors from FIA GT3. The first of these is in GT1; the Lamborghini Murciélago seen in recent years at Le Mans is as usual entered in the colours of JLOC, the Lamborghini Club of Japan.
Two teams based in Hong Kong will also be starting the race, and no doubt followed with great interest by the Chinese and other Asian media: Hong Kong Racing have entered an Aston Martin and an Audi R8 Performance KK LMS.
One of the major attractions of this grid is the Audi R8 LMS. Two of them have been entered by United Autosports. Carrying a spectacular 'American'livery, this team from FIA GT3, has the advantage of driver Danny Watts, LM P2 Champion in the Le Mans Series in 2010 with the HPD ARX-01c of Strakka Racing, and LM P2 class winner at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
These cars from FIA GT; Hong Kong Racing, United Autosports and KK Performance, are entered in a new class named LM GTC.
The Zhuhai 1 000 km will be held from November 5th to 7th.
