Intercontinental Le Mans Cup – 1 000km of Zhuhai
At 1pm on 3rd November 2010, Zhuhai Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau's secretary Mr. Zhang Mei-Sheng and Under Secretary Mr. Wang Chun-Jian, visited Zhuhai International Circuit to check on the progress of preparations for the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup - 1000km of Zhuhai race, scheduled for this weekend.
Mr. Zhang and Mr. Wang was accompanied by Mr. Jenkins Zhan (ZIC Chairman), Mr. Stewart Tan (ZIC General Manager), Mr. Remy Brouard (ACO CEO) as the group visited the pits of various teams including Peugeot, Porsche, BMW and Audi. Mr. Zhang showed a lot of interest in the various teams' technologies and even tried the seat of the BMW M3 GTR. Team manager Charly Lamm joked that he would call Mr. Zhang if he needed a third driver. After visiting the pit garages, the group gathered in the ZIC meeting room for a round of discussions. Mr. Remy Brouard says that all the teams are happy with the facilities provided and the arrangements so far, all we need now is a good turn-out of spectators to complete a perfect race weekend.
The Intercontinental Le Mans Cup – 1 000 km of Zhuhai will be held at Zhuhai International Circuit this weekend.
