24 Hours of Le Mans – LMGTE Am poleman reactions

Matteo Cairoli shares his thoughts after scoring pole position in LMGTE Am for the 87th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

"I was feeling good in the car. I am extremely happy to be here for the second time in a row, but talking about my lap, it was not a real clear one. I had some traffic at Mulsanne and that didn't help me. But the car was very great to drive. I think we made the difference in the last sector so I'm happy about that. The team always does an excellent job, so I'm feeling very happy to be a part of it. The race will be long and difficult for sure, but we are here to fight the best way possible and I'm really looking forward to it. The new car is easier to drive, the balance is more neutral and that helps the driver. When everything is right and you feel good in the car, it's easier. We hope for a good result on Sunday."
