The 2013 FIA World Endurance Championship was won by Loïc Duval, a talent on the rise, and a pair of contemporary endurance legends Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish. Like in 2012, the Drivers title was awarded to the year's 24 Hours of Le Mans winners.

Loïc Duval - 31 years old, born June 12, 1982 in Chartres (France). Five participations in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, one win (2013) -  Loïc Duval just moved to Geneva, Switzerland with his wife Gaëlle and son Hugo, would have loved to meet Steve McQueen, always starts with his left foot when putting on his firesuit, claims tennis player Roger Federer as inspiration...and has a fear of snakes.

Tom Kristensen - 46 years old, born July 7, 1967 in Hobro (Denmark). 17 participations in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, record holder for most wins with nine successes (1997-2000-2001-2002-2003-2004-2005-2008-2013) - Tom Kristensen is the first Danish racing driver to win a world title, has the names of his three children (Oliver Victor, Carla Malou and Oswald William) inscribed on his helmet, loves to play golf...and wanted to be a bank director when he was a boy.

Allan McNish - 43 years old, born December 29, 1969 in Dumfries (Scotland). 14 participations in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, three wins (1998-2008-2013) - Allan McNish is the first Scottish driver to win an endurance world championship, prefers Japanese cuisine (while teammates Loïc Duval likes Italina food and Tom Kristensen enjoys Thai, sushi and Italian)… his motto is "always go flat out".
