50 cars and 200 drivers set to line up at the second Virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans

If the 2022 endurance season can’t come quick enough for you, then the Virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans is just what you’re looking for. The second edition of this eSport event involving pro drivers and top simracers will take place on 15-16 January 2022.

The world’s greatest eSport event will be held on-line on 15-16 January 2022 when 50 cars will line up on the grid.  Two hundred drivers comprising a mix of pro racers and top eSport talent located in all four corners of the world will take the wheel of the LMP prototypes and GTEs.

Eduardo Freitas, the FIA World Endurance Championship race director, will keep his astute eye on the proceedings to ensure that the race runs smoothly throughout the 24 hours. A “race control” with the technical team and organisers will be based in Paris for the event, as will the WEC TV production crew who worked on the inaugural edition in June 2020.
A special TV programme will be broadcast around the world. It will feature guest stars in the studio or in the comfort of their own home and will interact with fans world-wide via social media.

So make a date for 15 January 2022 at 14:00 CET to be there at the start of the Virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans.
