Corvette Racing all set for the 24 Hours of Le Mans

Corvette Racing is getting ready to contest its eighteenth 24 Hours of Le Mans (17–18 June 2017). The US team will be relying on its two Corvette C7.Rs to reclaim the LM GTE Pro crown won in 2015.

Corvette Racing has just confirmed the driver line-ups for the two Corvette C7.Rs fielded at the 24 Hours of Le Mans next month. In the #63, the famous duo of Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen will be accompanied by American Jordan Taylor, who has already triumphed at Daytona and Sebring this year.

The #64 sister car will be in the capable hands of Tommy Milner, Oliver Gavin and Marcel Fässler. After a seven-year LMP1 interlude with Audi that included three overall wins (2011, 2012 and 2014), Swiss ace Fässler is returning to the Corvette Racing team for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The six experienced drivers lining up at Le Mans have notched up no fewer than 18 wins across all classes. As for Corvette Racing, the outfit based in New Hudson, Michigan, has eight class wins to its credit.
