ELMS - How the Onroak Automotive chassis fared in 2016 (video)

Onroak Automotive produces the Ligier LM P2s and LM P3s and was one of the leading lights in endurance and the European Le Mans Series this year. With 27 chassis fielded, the Le Mans-based constructor had more cars on the track than any other manufacturer in the championship.

Twenty-three teams running an Onroak Automotive chassis competed in at least one ELMS race this year. There were seven Ligier JS P2s in the LM P2 class with teams including Panis Barthez Compétition, Greaves Motorsport, Krohn Racing, IDEC Sport Racing and Pegasus Racing.

In LM P3, 20 Ligier JS P3s were fielded. The #2 car from United Autosport, steered by Alex Brundle, Michael Guash and Christian England, bagged the ELMS LM P3 Team title at the Spa-Francorchamps round on 25 September. Next year, the British team will enter a Ligier JS P217 in the LM P2 class in ELMS. The car will also line up at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2017 because the ELMS title-holder has earned itself an automatic Le Mans entry.
