After the competitors of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), during two days - April 1st and 2nd - those of the European Le Mans Series will find themselves on the Circuit Paul Ricard, at the Castellet (Var) for the pre-season's official practices.

On the schedule, three practice sessions tomorrow, Tuesday, and two sessions Wednesday. The four daytime practices will be four hours each (except the last which will be reduced to three hours), while the night session will be limited to two hours since the day will be so busy.
Though 42 cars are signed up for the entire ELMS season, only 38 (entry list) will be present in the South of France. Some will get to know their car or the championship while others will familiarize themselves with the circuit of Castellet before moving on to car settings.
At the two days of practices, we should have an idea of the forces in play and favorites will emerge perhaps before the first round at Silverstone on April 19th, the eve of the 2014 season launch of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
