ELMS – Provisional Entry List for the 4 Hours of Portimão

A 39-car grid is scheduled to line up for the European Le Mans Series grand finale at the 4 Hours of Portimão in Portugal.

The European Le Mans Series LMP2 and LMP3 crowns will be decided at the 4 Hours of Portimão, the final round of the 2019 season. The bumper provisional grid features 18 LMP2s, 13 LMP3s and eight LMGTEs.

Three teams are still in the running to take the LMP2 title: G-Drive Racing (#26 Aurus 01-Gibson), IDEC Sport (#28 Oreca-Gibson) and Graff (#39 Oreca-Gibson). They will be going all-out to be one of the top two LMP2 cars in the final overall standings who will be invited to run at the 88th 24 Hours of Le Mans (13-14 June 2020).
The #11 and #26 Ligier JS P3-Nissans entered by Eurointernational and Inter Europol Competition respectively will face off for the LMP3 title. The winner will also receive an invite to compete in the LMP2 class at the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans.

While Luzich Racing clinched the LMGTE championship at the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps last month, the battle for the runner-up spot is still raging between the #77 Porsche 911 RSR of Dempsey-Proton Racing, Kessel Racing’s #83 Ferrari 488 GTE EVO and the #66 Ferrari 488 GTE EVO of JMW Motorsport. The winner of this scrap for second place will join Luzich Racing in receiving a golden ticket for the world’s greatest endurance race next June. Meanwhile, an LMGTE Am berth at the 24 Hours of Le Mans awaits the Michelin Le Mans Cup winner.
