Mike Conway will replace Kazuki Nakajima. First Japanese driver to clinch the pole position at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June, he is being held back by his Japanese program in Super Formula single-seaters. Conway will also make his big debut in LM P1 with Toyota, after having been one of the drivers to watch in the LM P2 class in the 2013 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), with four victories with the G-Drive Racing team, at the wheel of an Oreca 03 - Nissan shared with the Russian driver Roman Rusinov and the Australian, John Martin.

This year, Conway is also entered in the IndyCar series (road race-tracks) at the wheel of a Dallara DW12 of the Ed Carpenter Racing team with two victories.

Fifth round of the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the 6 Hours of the Circuit of the Americas will take place at Austin, Texas on September 20th.
