Ford celebrates the 50th anniversary of its first Le Mans win in California.

This year, one of the themes of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elégance during Monterey week, was the 50th anniversary of Ford's first victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. For the occasion, the American marque reunited the Ford GT40 winners from 1966 to 1968.

Bill Ford III, President of Ford and great-grandson of the founder of the marque, was in attendance to pay tribute to the GT40 which has become a true icon - it is the first and only American car to win overall at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and against Ferrari…
