The RML Group were called in by Nissan. RML, who won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2005 and 2006 (LM P2), used this expertise to completing the feat of installing all of GT technology in a small city car. In the end, the entire drive system of the GT-R was retained, as were 20-inch wheels and Recaro seats.
