For its return to prototypes, Porsche has already made its mark: the two 919 Hybrids clocked the two best times, Hartley-Webber-Bernhard ahead of Lieb-Dumas-Jani. Already victorious in the LM P2 class at the first two rounds of the FIA World Championship (WEC), G-Drive Racing achieved the best time in the class. It was Ferrari domination in the LM GTE class, with the No. 51 AF Corse 458 Italia in the LM GTE Pro class and SMP Racing's in the LM GTE Am class.
Among the novelties in this 2014 edition, the Ligier JS P2 is fourth in LM P2, with the No. 35 of Brundle-Mardenboroug-Shulzhitskiy. The new Corvette holds the same position in the LM GTE Pro class.
