Team Vulco win cycling 24 Hours

The third running of the 24 Hours Cycling was won be Team Vulco for the second consecutive year. Encouraged by the sun and thousands of spectators who witnessed the "Le Mans" start.

Vulco Team, composed of Frenchmen Cassini and Menini with New Zealandr Lindsay and Latvian Trautmanis, dominated this third 24 hours. On Saturday at about 18:30, Sam Lindsay had taken the lead in the race that they kepy until Sunday, more than two laps ahead of nearest rivals (Bitwin Hope Racing Team) at the finish. The two-day event attracted over 15,000 spectators.

Grégory Cassini, Vuclo Cycling Team: "This is completely different from last year. It was faster in the first stint (42 km / h average). The race was slowed only when it started to rain around midnight. Then the track was greasy, with banked turns, there were a lot of falls."
