Toyota celebrates 40 years at the 24 Hours with standout liveries

The Japanese constructor is highlighting its 40-year history at Le Mans with two distinctive liveries this year. One is a nod to the Toyota TS020, also known as the GT-One.

The #7 Toyota GR010 Hybrid shared by Mike Conway/Kamui Kobayashi/Nyck de Vries will be dressed in red and white, a look inspired by the TS020 from the 1998 and 1999 24 Hours. The livery of the TS020, a.k.a. the GT-One, has been adapted for the 2025 #7 GR010 Hybrid. The red base color is embellished with irregular white accents running from the front to the rear, clearly paying hommage to the TS020.

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing is seeking its sixth win at Le Mans. While the #7 GR010 Hybrid reflects the past, the #8 entrusted to Sébastien Buemi/Brendon Hartley/Ryo Hirakawa has been given a modern matte black design. The two Hypercars will also show off a new logo underscoring the 40th anniversary of Toyota's debut at the 24 Hours.

A Legacy Forged by Passion and Performance

Toyota has marked the history of the race for 40 years since its first participation in 1985 with major highs and lows as well as indisputable technological innovation. With 61 cars entered in 26 runnings, the Japanese marque has earned five victories, 18 podium finishes and eight pole positions. From the 85C to the GR010 HYBRID, Toyota has navigated several phases: prototypes, the Supra adventure, the introduction of hybrid technology in 2012 and triumph with the TS050 HYBRID then the GR010 Hypercar. The journey has included 62 drivers of 16 different nationalities, all contributors to the carmaker's legend at Le Mans.

Heading into the 93rd 24 Hours of Le Mans (11-15 June), TOYOTA GAZOO Racing is second in the FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC), trailing Ferrari AF Corse by 65 points.
