Though the composition of drivers is loose in the LM GTE Pro class and barely restrictive in LM P1, in which only Bronze drivers are not allowed, the same cannot be said for the LM P2 and LM GTE Am classes. In the first, a driver line-up of two or three drivers must be composed of at least one Silver or Bronze driver, whereas in the second, the same driver line-up must include at least one Bronze driver and one Bronze or Silver driver.
Many criteria such as age, achievements, experience, etc. facilitate the list's establishment as it is, divided into four classes: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. To simplify, the two first groups are made up of professional drivers whereas the last two include gentlemen-drivers.
