WEC - A lap at Spa-Francorchamps inside the Toyota LMP1

Feast your eyes and ears…like the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Spa-Francorchamps circuit is among the most legendary in all of motorsports. Built in 1921, the Belgian circuit figures high on the list of driver favorites.

The original track - which hugs the topography of the Ardennes mountains - having proved obsolete and dangerous by the end of the 1960s, underwent a signficant overhaul over the next decade to adapt to the modern era in motorsports. Though the length was cut in half, the circuit kept its character and is still no walk in the park for drivers, as you can see via the on-board camera in the #8 Toyota TS050 HYBRID of Sébastien Buemi, Anthony Davidson and Kazuki Nakajima, inadvertent heroes of the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans…
