Though only one Oreca 05-Nissan figures on the invitees list for the 84th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, John Booth and Graeme Lowdon's team should enter a second car in the other rounds of the World Endurance Championship (WEC).
The make-up of the driver line-ups has yet to be confirmed, but recruitment announcements are coming out. Tor Graves, who competed in the British F3 championship with Manor has been named a driver for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, then Will Stevens, who occupied one of two Manor seats in F1 before the Booth/Lowdon duo left the discipline, has been confirmed.
Late last week, it was James Jakes' turn after representing Manor in the F3 European championship and in the GP3 Series. The first three drivers already confirmed have all competed with Manor, unlike the last recruit Matt Rao. The Brit, who will be at the wheel of the second car, also comes from single-seaters, but he has already had a taste of the LM P2 class since he took part in the WEC rookie test at Bahrain in November, clocking the best time in the class in Signatech Alpine's A450B.
The first race for Manor's two Oreca 05s will be at Silverstone on April 17th for the kickoff of the 2016 WEC season.
