All in all, 17 driver line-ups will be present including four more than were at the opening round at Fuji, Japan.
Three LM P2s will be present with the reinforcement of the Ligier JSP2-Nissan for Algarve Pro Racing which will be driven by Michael Munemann, Dean Koutsoumidis and James Winslow. Remember, this team is competing in its first European Le Mans Series season this year. It will rub elbows with two Oreca 03Rs - that of Race Performance, which won at Fuji, and that of Eurasia Motorsport.
No change in LM P3 with the entry of two Adess 03s (for Team AAI) and one Ligier JS P3 for David Cheng Racing. The newcomers are the two Wolf GB08s of Avelon Formula and Atlantic Tacing Team in the CN class.
The biggest group of cars will be in GT with seven: two Ferrari F458 GT3s, two BMW Z4 GT3s, two R8 LMSs and one McLaren 650S GT3. There is clearly a great deal of diversity in this class. And, the win in GT Am will play out between the Porsche 993 GT3 Cup of KCMG and the Audi R8 LMS Cup of Absolute Racing, a new competitor.
The entry list is here.
Tickets to the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 18-19) will be available for purchase Tuesday, November 3, 2015 (for ACO members) and Friday, November 6, 2015 (for the general public).
