ELMS – United Autosports pulls off a one-two at the 4 Hours of Monza

The United Autosports team's #22 ORECA 07-Gibson has won the 4 Hours of Monza, fifth round of the 2020 European Le Mans Series. Inter Europol Competition and Kessel Racing claimed the top step on the LMP3 and LMGTE podiums, respectively.

This weekend at the 4 Hours of Monza, the United Autosports team clinched its third win in a row with the #22 ORECA 07-Gibson. The performance has secured the Anglo-American team, and drivers Phil Hanson and Filipe Albuquerque, the championship title. The sister car shared by Will Owen, Alex Brundle and Job van Uitert claimed the second step on the overall podium. Near the end of the race, Ben Hanley representing DragonSpeed and Anders Fjordbach for High Class Racing dueled for third place, with DragonSpeed rounding out the top 3 at the chequered flag.

In the LMP3 class, the #13 Ligier JS P3-Nissan fielded by Inter Europol Competition and driven by Martin Hippe and Dino Lunardi won ahead of the United Autosports team's #2 Ligier JS P3-Nissan.

In LMGTE, the top step on the podium went to Kessel Racing's #74 Ferrari 488 GTE Evo followed by Proton Competition's #77 Porsche 911 RSR. These two teams will battle it out for the title at the championship finale.
