As well as staging the world championship race for the 30 cars that will race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June, including world famous drivers such as Mark Webber, Anthony Davidson and Tom Kristensen and manufacturer entries from Porsche, Audi, Toyota, Ferrari and Aston Martin, there will be a four hour race for the European Le Mans Series and three races for the FIA F3 European Championship.
In addition there is a full weekend of entertainment on offer with plenty to keep all the family enthralled during each day.
As well as having the opportunity to take part in the pitwalk to grab a few autographs and pictures with your favourite drivers, there will be a day long schedule of entertainment including the following :
Animal Action Sports Show
A 6 man show including a Dirt Jumper, BMX, Scooter rider, Trials rider and Motor Cycle. A similar show to 2013, but moving forward the team will be incorporating a ‘have-a-go’ element in the downtime between performances – giving people a chance to try basic skills on a push bike.
Air Displays
Witness thrilling choreography and nail-biting action as the Aerostars take to the skies with big-formation aerobatics, stunning break manoeuvers and head-to-head passes.
Electric F1 Go-Karts
These electric Go-karts provide kids the opportunity to test their skills as a Formula 1 driver around a specially designed inflatable track with a changeable speed limit between 4-10mph.
Segway Grand Prix
A firm favourite at Silverstone – the Segway experience gives people the chance to try out the Segway’s around the inflatable track.
Land Zorbing
Participants enter the large zorb balls and can have the experience of a lifetime as they traverse the inflatable course.
Titan the Robot
TITAN is an entertainment concept unlike anything on earth. Titan’s unique blend of comedy, street theatre and music creates a show unrivalled in the world today.
The Chill Out Zone
A place to come and relax and take in a film in the outdoor cinema. Over the weekend you’ll be able to watch some of the best motorsport films such as Rush, Le Mans and Cars 2.
Silverstone Rookie Ride
Rookie Ride provides an opportunity to experience riding a scooter and develop skills in a safe and fun environment. Rookie Ride sessions last for 15 minutes and are suitable for people aged 13+.
Coventry Corps Marching Band
Now in their 65th year and an all male Band with an age range from 8 to 25 years, the City of Coventry Corps of Drums continue to provide their highly professional performances and impress audiences with their precision marching and musical arrangements.
Popbang Colour
The worlds of Art and Automotive combine through the artwork of contemporary British artist Ian Cook. Ian paints with remote control cars and will create a piece of artwork whilst attending the Event.
Caricature
Andrew The Caricaturist will delight and charm you with his fabulous caricatures.
Fireworks
A firework display will provide the perfect backdrop to round off the 2014 6 Hours of Silverstone.
Tickets for the 6 Hours of Silverstone are now available HERE and start from £10 for adults, with children 15 and under going Free.
The general admission tickets include grandstand seats (unreserved), paddock entry, car parking and access to the public pitwalk and autograph sessions.
