At the front of the fielde are we are being treated to some of the best racing in years . With Pagenaud in the #9 Peugeot and Treluyer in the #2 Audi. They are driving superbly, particularly in traffic. They came upon the slower #73 Corvette who suddenly had his mirrors full of Audi and Peugeot but he wisely held his line, but Pagenaud briefly got stalled behind the Corvette so they were almost three abreast going into the Porsche Curves but Treluyer then reacted with a brilliant idea, the run off area to the right of the track is tarmac so he used that and dived through to take the lead. It was the last thing Pagenaud expected. It was brilliant. But then Pagenaut took back the lead only to lose it again. This was all done in amongst slower cars.. this does not feel like race that is 249 laps old, it is more like a six hour sprint race..
