Relive the 2011 endurance racing season with this book!

Just as the count-down to the kick-off of the FIA World Endurance Championship speeds up – the first round is only five weeks away – now is the time to have a quick look back at the 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, the forerunner of the new championship.

With the official 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup Yearbook, relive the 2011 international endurance racing season!

It is written by Jean-Marc Teissedre, reporter at large of the weekly magazine Auto Hebo and author of the Le Mans-24 Hours Yearbook since its debut. It is published by Apach and tells the story of the thrilling 2011 ILMC. This sumptuously illustrated book filled with exciting texts looks back at the key moments of the season, which started with the unexpected victory of French privateer, Oreca, in the Sebring 12 Hours with their 2010 Peugeot 908 HDi FAP. It also covers the thrilling Le Mans 24 Hours won by Audi, and the domination of Ferrari and Peugeot in the manufacturers’ classifications. The magnificent spectacle of the cars on the Spa-Francorchamps roller-coaster is illustrated with exciting photos, and you can read all about the no-holds-barred battles between Peugeot and Audi in the prototype category. The GTs are not forgotten either and the scraps between Ferrari, Corvette and Porsche in GTE Pro as well as those in the LM P2 category and GTE Am are explained in detail. The official Yearbook gives you the full story of an exciting and indecisive season.

But the story of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup is not the only one in the Yearbook as the 2011 Le Mans Series is the subject of a special 30-page chapter, which recounts the crowning of Rebellion Racing, Pescarolo’s renaissance with the drivers’ title shared by Emmanuel Collard and Julien Jousse and the stunning performance of the AF Corse Ferrari F458 Italias.
