The warm-up is a 15-inute free practice session that takes place in the morning before the race. It serves to check that cars are working as they should be following the post-qualifying overhaul. Sixty cars completed at least one lap and 48 of them at least one timed lap. The Porsche GT Team’s #92 entry was back on track after its Hyperpole accident. There were two noteworthy incidents, with no serious consequences: a spin-off for JOTA’s #28 Oreca 07-Gibson at the Dunlop chicane and for the #41 at Tertre Rouge Corner.
